Hi, we anticipate the release of Wordpress 3.6 anytime now. Although wetested as of WP 3.6 Beta 3, fact is we have to wait for the official release to confirm 100% compatibility. So please do not update when you see the WP update notice, until you have checked here for confirmation that it is ok.

We have an updated beta of Striking Responsive available to version 0.962 for interested users to test. This is our final beta update as almost all bugs are squashed in it. Please visit:

Hi Striking Users!.
Today we are releasing a small update to Striking to deal with miscellaneous errors that have been reported since the release of Version 5.1.9.5. Thankfully the list is quite small. THIS UPDATE INCLUDES A NEW CHILD THEME but one does not have to reinstall the whole child if one is comfortable updating just two files by ftp. However, Child theme users should pay careful attention to the Ver .9.6 child theme specific updating instructions so that they do not crash their site while updating the base Striking theme!!

I just revised significantly the forum posting and etiquette sticky thread "FORUM RULES FOR POSTING, COMMENTING, SUPPORT, ETC" found in the All Discussions category and suggest everyone read it immediately as it impacts every thread.
Given the large size of our forum, we suggest using Google to search the forum for answers prior to posting for answers as most questions are repetitive. An example google search might be as such:
kaptinlin support navigation center
which would bring up threads on how to center your navigation menu.
We attend to threads as best we can, in the order they are posted.
There are also some other changes on the horizon, as Kappy and I have been "absorbed" into a larger software company and it has wordpress product development underway that is very exciting - announcements about that are a some time away yet - but there shall be an upgrade path for existing Striking users (its part of our mission to ensure this ability), and trust us, you will want to do it! (alas it will not be free). Never fear however, we will continue to support Striking - that is independent (it belongs to us, and has nothing to do with this new work).
Since its release Oct 2010, Striking has had 46 separate updates of NEW features, more than any other theme in the Themeforest marketplace. Striking is dedicated to keeping its users up to date with the Wordpress core, and the latest features available in the Wordpress theme world.

We have reports of Striking used without purchase of license. Very unfair since only $50 for huge premium theme with most features anywhere. If you have Striking on 3 sites, you must buy 3 license. If you have on 10 sites, you must buy 10 license. A license per use is legal requirement. So if you have 3 domains such as:
www.abc.com
www.jacksplace.com
www.verytired.eu
you need 3 licenses.
MULTISITE LICENSING: If you run a path based multisite setup then only one license is required, but if you are using WP multisite to run several discrete urls (usually done with domain mapping) each site requires its own license!
