Hi,

I have a problem with the cufon font (Vegur-Medium) not displaying german umlauts. Not sure if only this font, but its the font I want to use and it does not display them.

The umlauts display fine in the body of articles and pages, but they are swallowed when in the

.

So a text of "aäöüßb" would only display "ab" in the introduce text on the page. I have checked the html text and it does have "aäöüßb" in the html code as it should be.

Any help would be appreciated.

Vegur as supplied via Cufon does not contain these characters. You can test drive Vegur and different fonts at a website like http://www.fontex.org/download/Vegur.otf to see yourself which special characters are included or not for a specific font family.
