Attempt to create a blog page unsuccessful

    Hi There,

    Have created a number of pages for my site and now wish to assign one of them as my blog page.. I have followed the instructions in the striking manual under 'creating a blog page', i.e. created the page called 'blog', gone to - striking - blog - blog general section and when I go to select the page i wish to use for my blog from the drop down arrow, it doesnt show any options/ no drop down menu even though i have created 6 pages.

    Is there something else obvious im doing wrong?

    Hi,

    You need to create posts which shows up in the blog page.

    You need to create a page (which is not a post) and either use the blog shortcode in that page to show the blog posts.... or assign that page to be your blogpage in the striking blog settings.
