2 Questions - Purchasing Theme & Issue with Blog Titles
• Hi there,

I have two questions for you...

I've bought the Striking theme several times for clients and love it. I tried it out with a new client (installed a version of it on a temp server that was locked down) and after getting positive feedback from the client, I need to purchase another copy of it so the site can go live. I've already played with the demo version... what would be the best way to purchase another license of this theme and then try to add that license code to this existing WP 'demo' site?

Also, I have an issue with the blog titles as they show up in the category page. I cannot get any quotation marks to show up, and since this is a boat site, I've got all kinds of inventory entries on this page. I've tried everything I can think of to get the quotation marks to show up.... but nothing happens. Can you tell me what you think might be going on, or can I send you login info so you could check it out yourself?

Thanks!

Please include a link to the page so we can have a look.

• Hello,

The link is: http://www.kofflerboats.com/category/boat-inventory/
The Theme is up to date on my test server where I'm trying to fix this, but the problem still occurs (the live site is not updated yet).

If you click on one of the posts then you can see how the title is written. Generally the format is Ft-long' x Inches-high" in the title. Example: 2012 High Side Drift Boat 20' x 66" but in the category/blog page it would read 2012 High Side Drift Boat 20 x 66.

We are using the "Feature Header Custom Title" field to list our post titles. I noticed that anything coming after a quotation marks is chopped off. Example: Entering this,

2012 20' x 66" High Side Drift Boat

And then hitting Update Post, once the post has updated the only thing left in the title field is:

2012 20' x 66

A work around is to do, 2012 20' x 66" High Side Drift Boat

But then after the Update Post it reads like this again:

2012 20' x 66" High Side Drift Boat

Meaning that a subsequent Update Post would put it back to,

2012 20' x 66

It seems like an wp_specialchars(is now deprecated) or esc_html() or some similar related function error.

Thank you for the help,
