upgrade 5.1.7.1 & 5.1.8.3

    Hi,
    1- I can only upgrade to Version 5.1.7.1 on my WP dashboard. How can I upgrade to the most recent version 5.1.8.3?
    2- After upgrading to 5.1.7.1 my video portfolio items fail to play. Would 5.1.8.3 fix the problem?

    HI

    If for some reason you are having an issue updating using the automatic update function within the theme, then your easy alternative is to:

    1) download the latest version of Striking from Themeforest, unzip the package, and install the theme by ftp

    This will take you about 3-5 minutes to do. Not quite as quick as the internal update function, but not far behind.

    Thank you James! I updated to ver 5.1.8.3 and fixed the gallery player conflict by uninstalling a plugin named wp-Typography, probably not compatible with the up-to-date WP.
