Hello,
Is there a way to customize the error404 page? Or perhaps change the 404 page to a custom page?

I would basically like to remove "Blog Posts", "Category Archives" and sidebar.

You can open the 404.php and adjust it the way you like.

You also can put in a custom message see the striking advanced section. The field also supports shortcode.
