I run the blog www.MamasLebaneseKitchen.com where we post recipes using plugins such as EasyRecipe which converts the text into a Google Rich Snippets. The benefit is that this would help our recipes show in Google Recipes and get more hits.
I brought this up with the developer of EasyRecipe and he looked at the code on our page and determined that the img tag isn't added correctly by the Striking template. And this is what was missing and was in fact a requirement for google to accept the page as rich snippets.
So the bottom line I'm seeking your help if you could add a feature or update the code accordingly in order to tag the images correctly so we don't miss out on google recipes.
PS. The workaround for me now is to use the WP image insert feature to insert an image manually onto the page however it won't look as good as the one inserted by Striking.
PPS. The EasyRecipe developper also noted that Striking may be using a modified or old version of jQuery tabs() which is breaking his code and formatting. Is there a way to fix that?
What a great website. I will forward your question to the developer. Do me a favor please.
Please put in a list of the plugins you use (names and link to the plugin pages) for the social plugins. We want to generate a complete list of plugins which are compatible with the theme. Or send me login details by a pm so i can take a look at the installed plugin names. (a pm can be send by clicking on my name and on the left there is a button for sending me private mail).
is it a free plugin the easyrecipe? Can we have a testdrive in order to see the problem?
