I think I understood what is happening

To portfolio slideshows, the fisrt time the slideshow is created, the posts appears at the right and logical order: the newest firts. But, when I add a new portfolio, instead of showing the newest first, it puts in the last place. It does not happens with slideshows os posts, just with slideshow of portfolios.

Would it be possible to fix it in the future?

I'm not using anymore the post types order plugin, because, at least in my site, it caused a conflict with the order the images would be displayed as thumbnails in the post. When the plugin was active, asc and desc order didn't work.

It's ok not to resolve the slideshow portfolio now, I just would be happy if it were fixed in the near future, because I'll probably use the portfolio slideshow again, and, because the post slideshow functions perfectly and automatically in the right order, I just could imagine the problem with portfolio slideshow is a bug. But, if it's not a simple bug, if that's a question that only can be resolved manually with the types order plugin, please tell me and I'll considere reinstall post typer order plugin and having no control over the thumbnails order.

thank you. But, is there perspective of fixing the portfolio slideshow, so it would work as good as post slideshow?
