Issue with Striking Accordion and Plugin TheThe Fly
  • I have recently installed the the fly sliding panels. Really great widget extention that allows sliding panels from the side.

But it uses the same code as the accordion code. So the accordions do not open. Is there a way of changing the code to make them both work

    thank you

  • Hi Ed,

Did you try ask the developer of the plugin? Since he made the plugin which is conflicting with the theme i believe he should solve the conflict.

  • thanks paul, i will ask the question to see what they can do.

I was hoping there might be an easy fix to it. Is there one

    thanks
  • Hi ed,

Yes you are right of asking so but since plugin developers need to not use the same script names it is most likely that he should fix this because his plugin will conflict this way in other themes as well.

  • Hi

I dont know if Kaptinlin is available for doing so on external plugins. I have to ask him. But he is on a tight schedule right now so dont be disappointed if he is not. Then it will have to wait.

  • i would really appreciate it, also could be something easy for you guys to integrate and be really useful for future sales. As i dont think anyone is offering this with their themes.

    thanks
