How to customize homepage meta title without use of an SEO plugin

    In lieu of using an SEO plugin, how do I generate a custom Meta Title for the homepage?

    On all the other pages, whatever I put in the title bar above the editor becomes that page's meta title. But the Striking Homepage editor doesn't have that title bar.

    In Yoast's SEO plugin, there was a spot to customize the homepage title. But it conflicts with another plugin that I have to use. That's why I'm looking for any other way to customize, even if I have to edit a PHP file or something.

    Hi,

    Just make a static home page and set that to be your home page and then you can set the titles in the static home page.

    I never heard of any conflict of the Yoast plugin. What plugin is it conflicting with.
