Getting striking to load into Wordpress - Server restriction on file upload size.

    Hi Guys,
    I am having troubles installing the Striking theme and dont know what else I can do.
    I have added it to my FTP via filezilla - path > /wp-content/themes/striking
    and this is in the exact same themes folder as the 2 default themes that come with wordpress 'twentyeleven' and ;twentyten' and they are showing up in my wordpress dashboard yet striking isnt and I dont understand why not?

    Then you probably forgot to unpack the download.

    Goto themeforest. Unpack your download then upload the striking.zip which is in that package either (unpacked by ftp) or by the theme upload in the wp admin section.

    Hi Paul,

    I have done both of these things.When I try upload it via Word press I get this error The 'uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini'

    So it looks as though the file is too large. Is there a way I can increase my allowable uploads?

    Yes, the problem is that your host has set a file upload permission that is small. You must be on inexpensive shared hosting.

    You could contact your host, but most likely they may not do much. Send me a pm, and include your ftp, wp admin and also your skype id, and I will assist you.

    I asked them to increase it and it worked!!
    So so happy.. ive been trying to get thing to work for daysssss :)
