symplex theme demo content will not load

    Hi,
    I have used striking before and loved it. Installed the demo content without problem. I am now using Symplex but the demo content will not load.

    for Symplex - the pdf instructions say import "demo_export.xml" file and copy options.txt file to "Symplex-advanced". However, the files I downloaded from themeforest in the demo folder are called "symplex.wordpress.xml" and "options.txt" respectively. Is this part of the problem? I did try to load these but I has not worked. I really need the demo content.

    Hi larissa,

    You can import the xml file by the wordpress-->tools(extra)-->import function. It will the first time ask you to install a plugin for that. Just do so.


    the options.txt you need to open in a text editor and copy all the content into the symplex advance settings import box.... save the settings when done.

    Failed to import “Striking WP”: Invalid post type product
    Failed to import “Symplex WP”: Invalid post type product
    Failed to import “Symplex Html”: Invalid post type product

    and a notification at the top of the page "Symplex 1.9.1.1 is available! Please update now." what does this mean ? I only got Symplex yesterday.

    You can check the content if it has been import correctly, if it is, you can ignore these errors.

    The notification is mean there is new version of Symplex has been released. You can download it via the update function in 'Symplex->Advance' option page.
