Currently, the single portfolio item featured image appears full width across the content area with the ability to either auto detect height or used a fixed height (On the Portfolio settings tab).
I would like to reduce the width of this featured image, proportionally retaining it's height and floating it within the content area to the top right or put another way I would like to have a medium sized featured image in the top right of my single portfolio content area rather than a full-width featured image.
No one has got back to me yet - for me this part of the presentation is essential as I'm effectively creating a shopping cart style product showcase using portfolios. I'm running out of time as my client wants to see progress.
Can someone please address this... no matter what I do, the image on the single portfolio page is sized to total width... ie. my pic is 300x300 but it displays on the single portfolio page as 628x628.... help?
I think I replied in one of your other posts, and I did also add you as a skype contact, although you have not message back to me. I posted some fairly lengthy explanations into the skype window for you.
For both of you, the solution to this is to turn off the featured image for the single portfolio post in the Striking Portfolio Panel. What will happen is that the featured image will display in the portfolio shortcode, but when a user clicks through to the single post itself, it will not show. So the usage here is to post into the post body the image in whatever size you desire, and a user landing on the page will naturally believe that they are looking at a featured image, when in fact they are looking at a custom image that merely has been placed first in the post content.
If you have any questions about this, either reply in this post, or Brian, as you have my skype id, skype me.
