Button shortcode - Woocommerce clash - Resolution - use Striking Advanced Panel New CSS Switch
  • Hi

I'm finishing off the build of a new site and am starting to put in the fine touches here and there. I was putting in some button shortcodes but they don't seem to be working. The code is:
    [button class="info" align="center" link="../classes/mens-classes/" linkTarget="_self" color="blue" bgColor="#23B8F0" textColor="#ffffff"]Information about Men's Classes[/button]

However, the buttons are displaying as per the attached image.

What am I missing? It did not matter whether I set the 'color' option or not or whether a 'class' was set.

    Cheers!
    Andrew

  • HI Andrew

It worked for me. I attached a picture. I bet "dollars to donuts" that a plugin is clashing with the Striking button css. You know what you have to do......

  • Hmm,

It sounds like the button problem on the comments screen.

Could you please update to the latest striking version?

  • Hi James and Paul

I had the latest version of Striking already running. WooCommerce was clashing. Thanks gentlemen, always a pleasure.

    Cheers!

  • Hi andrew,

I already figured that one out that this would be the problem. Goto the advanced settings of striking and turn on the advanced css classes when you use woocommerce.
