Ok I am going to try to give as much detail as possible.. Hopefully someone can give me step by step how to do this... I am newbie at this, but I know it works because I see it in your examples. So here we go:

I have videos hosted at sprout.com. They have embed codes such as :

I want these videos to be on a portfolio (gallery) page and when you click on them, it opens in lightbox and plays. I know this is simple but I am missing some basic concept here....

Let's just say for example we have two video (both can be duplicates of the embed code above. I would assume I need to create two portfolio items, one for each video... When you create the portfolio item, how should it look, what should be where, etc? Need specifics because I have tried everything....

Then I would assume you need a page which is going to show the gallery.... I have created a page. What needs to go here and where, shortcodes etc, to work properly?

Like I said I want the user to click on the image of the video and then the video opens in lightbox and plays.... Please give precise details. If I could do this once successfully, it would clear up a lot to do the rest.... If this matters, lets say the portfolio items (videos) are both in the category 'Test'.....
