some problems

    Hi,
    I'm having some problem since yesterday morning.
    1) If I upload a media (jpg image) it makes 100% but I cannot see it in the list despite it is uploaded (I noticed it using the ftp client).
    2) I create an article and I add tags; when I save it I loose all the tags.
    3) I cannot add any voice to a custom menu; it doesn't do anything.

    Any idea about what can be the problem ?!

    Hi Fulk,

    Images in the media lib of wordpress are only visible once uploaded by the media library. If you upload theme by ftp you wont be able to see them in the medai listing.

    for the tags i need to see this at your backend of wordpress. You can send me a pm with logion details if you want me to take a look.
    I would advice a plugin called simple tags.

    as far as i recall striking does not support audio on the menu. Didn't know that wordpress did. Must have missed that setting. So i do not know how to help you on that.

    I just tried to upload images and it does not work at all.

    I noticed it 2 days ago when I added a new article (called milano-vicenza).
    I have a previous backup (of 23 april) with these files:

    1)
    all the ftp folder

    2)
    the xml file exported from wordpress (tools - export - all contents)

    3)
    the txt file exported from striking (striking - advanced - Export Striking Options Data)

    4)
    the sql database backup


    What do you suggest to do ?

    Hi Fulk,

    What i would suggest.

    0) ask your hoster first if they tied up security due to the new php cgi script leak which has been released in the open by mistake.

    If he did not change anything....

    1) make a backup of the current situation (folders + sql database). Store it away save. We may need this later.

    2) upload the folders from the previous backup..... drop the tables and import the previous sql database.

    See if this solves your problem.

    The hoster immediately answered me: it seems that the database maximum size was reached.
    Now I have increased it.
    I will able to see this modification in about 20 hours.
