Kaptinlin Themes Support

I have a background image set on Striking>Background for the Feature Header Background. When I go to a page and try to set up a custom background color on the Page edit view, it does not take. It still shows me the background image even though the dialogue on the page says that entering a custom color will overwrite the global settings. My background for Feature looks good behind slider, but does not look good with page name text on it, so, I'd really like the background image to be there on the Home page but I'd like to set custom solid color background for the feature section on the pages themselves. Please help. Thank you, David
