Here is my suggestion.

I've been spending a good amount of time working on my blog and I'm pretty darn happy with it and Striking theme. I think it looks great. I did encounter problems along the way, but I was able to figure most of them out or work around the problems.

The major exception is with the blog postings on my home page. I'm using my home page as a way to showcase my blogs. And I do it by breaking my blog out first by current posts, then by category posts. I would love to be able to automatically show different posts for a category. Right now the only time the posts change is if I do it manually.

For example, here is one of the shortcodes I use on my home page:

[blog column="1" count="2" image="false" imageType="default" nopaging="true" posts="152, 120"]

Instead of specifying posts "152" and "120," I'd like for it be able to specify a category then have two posts shown at random from that category.
