Recent Tweets not working (1.6)
  • Hi,

I have updated to Symplex 1.6 but now I have noticed that the 'Symplex - Twitter: Recent Tweets' is no longer populating any tweets, the lsit just remains blank.

Do you know why this may be happening?

    Thanks

  • Hi

Can you show me the url of page which you have used the Twitter widget on?

You will see the 'Recent Tweets' in the right-hand sidebar.

This was working (albeit with the bugs) before the update but since 1.6 shows nothing.

    Thanks for looking into this.
  • Hi

I find the js bug there, can you send me a mail with your site FTP permission, I need to debug it and I will fix it via FTP.

You can send a mail to jimbachen at kaptinlin.com

  • Will get this set up and email you the details.
  • Hi, Sherrtechnologies and Jimba Chen

I should not ask this question, but your website looks pretty good, I want to know how you were successful in placing the header image for each of the page? I'm having hard time in finding a way to do it, can you please tell me?

I would really appreciate your help.

    Thanks

  • Sherrtechnologies used the slideshow in the header with only one item in each page.

  • Hi muzammilrafiq,

Thank you for your kind comments about our site.

I did exactly as JimbaChen mentioned in setting up individual slide categories with only one slide within. I simply then assigned that category to the page and set it slider items to 1.

The reason I did it this way is so that, if in future I decide to, I can make the pages become a multi-slider interface without too much backend changing (in face simply adding more slides to each category).

I hope this helps and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask (apologies it took me so long to read this).

    Mark
