    Here is the code:
    [framed_box bgColor="#99C68E" textColor="#205400"]content[/framed_box]

The shortcode will also allow you to round the framed box
    [framed_box bgColor="#8bb381" textColor="#5e7d7e" rounded="true"]

There are a lot of other things you can do by CSS. Change border(s) color(s) and width(s), box shadows, inner shadows, gradients, background images, ect...
  • Thank you. I am trying to achieve a box that contains text and then a drop down. Please see this page as an example. ctflatfee(dot)com.

Is it also possible to put one of these on a page sidebar?

    Thank you in advance..
  • Hi

You need to have a dropdown menu plugin which can be added by shortcode.

then you can add both shortcodes in a textwidget in any sidebar.

there are lots of dropdownmenu plugins available at wordpress.org

  • On the Styled Boxes Shortcode page, there aren't any parameters like there are on the other shortcode pages. Could you add those so we can see all the options available for the styled boxes?

    Thanks!
