  • Hi,

After updating to 5.1.6 all my portfolios have the same thumbnail image, since I used one filename for all portfolio avatars (avatar.jpg). Thumbnail is now stored in "/wp-content/themes/striking/cache/images/avatar-217x150.jpg". When was this changed? I have to manually now add new avatars with different filenames to all of my ~100 portfolio items...

  • Hi Rando,

First your thumbnails are normally in the uploads/monthxxx folder?

If yes !!! then try the following

Goto the striking advanced settings section

You can turn use timthumb off and clear cache on and save the settings....

That should set everything ok again.

    Best regards,

  • Thanks for the answer!

My uploads are yes, in separate folders (month/date). I already cleared the cache but that didn't help and timthumbs have been off all the time. So no solution yet.

  • Hi Rando,

do you have a link to your website?

Are you saying that they still are pointing to the cache folder?

If you turn timthumb on again does it work then?

    Best regards,

  • Hi,

Turning timthumb on actually saved the day, thanks!
