  • Hi Pixelmixture

If you are running striking 5.1.6 you can use this

    [four_fifth_last]
    [gmap controls="true" scrollwheel="false" address="151 Route St Antoine Ginestière Nice France" html="Hôpital Archet 2‎{linebreak}Service d'imagerie médicale, Etage -2{linebreak}151 Route St Antoine Ginestière{linebreak}06200 Nice{linebreak}04 92 03 77 77" popup="true" zoom="15"]
    [/four_fifth_last]

  • I was having the same problem with Striking v5.1.8. Even with plain text in the html attribute and popup="true", the info window would not auto-open.

I was able to trace the problem to the jQuery gMap plugin. Here is a link to the relevant issue: https://github.com/marioestrada/jQuery-gMap/issues/4. This was fixed in the latest release (version 2.1.2).

Right now I'm using the 2.1.2 version that I downloaded from http://labs.mario.ec/jquery-gmap/ with Striking and everything is working fine. However, it would be nice if this version were included in a future release of Striking.
  • Hi

In fairness, we are only one version behind, ver 2.1.1, and were somewhat hesitant to jump as we already had a full plate given all we packed into this updae, and getting gmap to work everywhere in the past, has been pretty exhausting.

But hearing from you that it worked fine in 5.1.8 is great news, and thank you for the work you did on this welles.

We will update it to 2.1.2 in the next update.

A I am closing this thread. But welles, if you have the inclination, I would appreciate your posting your comment over to the dedicated thread for 5.1.8. as this is where we bundle all things about the latest release of Striking, including anything we have to address.

    Again, thanks for your work.

    Happy Striking
