More options for toggles
  • For toggles:

I would like to have more options:
    1.) A few different "+" "-" options. example: a darker "+" and "-". A down arrow / up arrow
2.) I would like to be able to use a button to trigger the toggle. Like the lightbox triggered by a button.
3.) I would like to be able to pick the text color for the title also. So, I can have different toggles with different title colors.

I ran into trouble putting a toggle inside a style box.

  • Hi Twigstir,

Sounds like some good ideas. Although suggestion 2 would result in a complete different toggle.....

I wonder for the time being if you could manage with the given solutions in another thread started by you?

    Best regards,

  • For now, I think I'm good. I made a styled box and used some bad coding to get another styled box inside of it with a different border but the same color.

With the help you provided I hope to be able to replace the "+" and "-" with slightly darker ones.

I also posted the code I used in the other thread and maybe someone will reply and show me a better way of doing what I did. I would like to change the colors and borders of style boxes but I do not have enough knowledge yet.

I think the suggestions I made would be good for striking. As a buisness owner, I use the style boxes to highlight key things and make them easy to read. I like to keep them simple. I use the toggle inside the style box so it's easy for customers to get more information in a neat and clean way.

Toggles are great for providing a small amounts of additional information while keeping a buisness web page as simple and clean as posssible. I think more options in this area would help striking
