19 AUGUST 2014 - UPDATE

1)   Please update to WP 3.9.2 asap as it deals with some security matters.  All Striking sites using MultiFlex 1.0.3+ or Striking 5.3 can be updated to WP 3.9.2. immediately.  We have tested the latest beta of WP 3.4 with our forthcoming Striking MultiFlex Ver 1.1 and they appear to be fine with each other.

2)   In respect of Striking MultiFlex 1.1. Our build is complete however we are holding for the Rev Slider Team to address some bugs in their current build.  Once they have finished their bug corrections we can formally release.

3)  We anticipate releasing Striking 5.3.1 today.  It will only available by the internal update function as this theme is deprecated and no longer available for sale.

Striking Search widget - title "Search" automatically added after changes to other widgets
  • Hi KaptinLin,

I currently use the striking search widget with an empty title on page and blog widget areas. Every time I make a change in the header or home page widget areas (e.g. remove or add a widget) the title "Search" is automatically added to the striking Search widget.

While it is not a critical issue it requires to always remember to clean the search title after making changes to other widgets.

    I use Striking 3.0.6, WP 3.2.0 and WPML 2.3.3

    Thanks and Regards, Fernando.

  • Hi Fernando,

I just try Striking search widget in Striking 3.0.6, WP 3.2.0 and WPML 2.3.3

But the title Search don't show.

Maybe you can try deactive plugins then have a try.

    Regards,
    KaptinLin
  • Many thanks for the test and response. It could then be also related to the 2nd component/plugin in WPML - the string translations. I will have a look. You can now close this issue.

    Regards, Fernando.
