Error in Portuguese Brazilian translation - FIXED IN UPDATE VER 2.3 - Translation updated
  • Hi, Kaptilin, can you fix this translation bit? Below I've included the part with the error in the pt_br.po file. Someone told me that I have to export it also to pt_br.mo but I don't know how.

    # printf( _n( 'One Response to %2$s', '%1$s Responses to %2$s', get_comments_number(), 'striking_front' ),
    msgid "One Response to %2$s"
    msgid_plural "%1$s Responses to %2$s"
    msgstr[0] "Uma resposta para %2$s"
    msgstr[1] "%1$s respotas para %s$s"

    The correct translation is: respostas

Also, in the website, the "%2$s" is showing up instead of the name of the article (I guess that what it was supposed to show, right?). I've included a screenshot so you know what I'm talking about.

    The problem.

    Thanks in advance,

    Alex.

  • Hi,

Thanks for pointing out the mistake.

You can use poedit for the mo file.

    I attached the fixed file.

  • Thanks for the file but I updated to the new version (2.2) and you already fixed it for me (and all brazilian customers). Thank you again.
  • Just notice another little error but I don't know if its translation related (probably is) so, here it is:

That's in the bottom of the blog section.

I guess its supposed to show "<<" and ">>", right?

Again, nothing too bad but if it is fixed, it will look nice.

    Thanks in advance.
  • Hi,

What do you mean '<<' and '>>'?

    I can't get it.

  • I mean the navigation at the bottom of the blog pages. I've got L&aquo; and R&aquo; instead of "<<" and ">>".

    Take a look here. http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/8134/capturadetela20101218s1.png

    Thanks in advance.
