I think I found a bug. I have turned Category OFF in the Blog->Meta Informations section and I set Blog->Single Blog->Show in Header Area OFF.

On my blog page and a single blog post, the categories are no longer visible as expected.

Now I set Blog->Single Blog->Show in Header Area ON. Suddenly the (in my case) category "Uncategorized" shows up in the Header area.

This is not as expected and I think its a bug. Whats your opinion?

Since updating to Striking 5.0.6 and WP 3.3, I'm noticing that the portfolio shortcodes don't generate any output.

For instance I have a page that uses this short code:

[portfolio column="3" titleLinkable="true" lightboxTitle="none" cat="top_level_project"]

and which used to create a nice grid of portfolio items categorised with "top_level_project" but now nothing appears as output for this code.

I keep getting this error when trying to upgrade to 3.3 with the lastest version of Striking:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Plugin_Upgrader in /home/mysitename/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-wp-upgrader.php on line 593

Are there any solutions?

UPDATES:

Another quirk is that I have a post tag called "workplace" and a page called "workplace" too. When I click on the post tag it takes me to the page called "workplace" This never happened prior to the upgrade from Striking 4+ to 5.04

If I post a new post and assign it to exisiting categories and then click on those categories I now get all the posts associated with them.

So it looks like this upgrade is causing a problem with old posts..which for a site with a big archive this is a big problem.

FIXED (sort of): After creating a new post, it seems that my site worked itself out and now I can click on dates or tags or categories and get all the posts associated with them..even after i deleted the new post I used to test this out. So anybody else should try this too.

after updating to 5.0.3 the slide show is not running correctly.
The first picture is coming up with the correct title.
The second title is coming up and the fade stops (both pictures are to be seen).
Same issue with the next picture and so on.

The update has caused some issues with my site: www.corianderglass.com
Similar to the situation before, where I had to update the timthumb to fix previous issues when activating multisite, I have no controls over a number of things including header height, color (everything went to white), fonts (all changed and went smaller), etc.

I have noticed a glitch in version 5.0.1. Basically when changing the height of the nivo slider in Striking > Slideshow to anything greater than 450px the layout breaks as shown on the attached.

Please can you provide a fix for this.

Please look into this discussion. Could you please fix this in the shortcode interpreter that when two shortcodes are after each other without any space in between or return the shortcode itself is displayed and not the data the shortcode should generate.?
