In widgets I setup a blog sidebar. I setup both Blog General and Single Blog to use a right sidebar. The sidebar display properly in the General page, with all of the entries, but not in the single page with an individual blog post. Can you help?

with Striking 4.0.3 the tabs on the homepage of http://www.kroatien-urlaub.at/ create URLs like "http://www.kroatien-urlaub.at/#http://www.kroatien-urlaub.at/#Hotels_Kroatien" after clicking on the first and then on the second tab.
Reloading when http://www.kroatien-urlaub.at/#http://www.kroatien-urlaub.at/#Hotels_Kroatien appears in the address bar breaks the slider?

What's wrong here?

Great theme! While developing a portfolio the page looks great on the first load, but after clicking through various categories the "All" fails when you return to it. Once "All" is clicked on the "portfolio items" collapse on the left side where they appear to be stacking on top of one another.

If you refresh/reload the page, the page resets ok, but if you click on any other category it begins again.

With a shortcode in the content you will get the following on the end "]"] . What will appear is in the anchor text for the lightbox would be "]Bla Bla Bla

Should you find that an issue has carried over from your prior reporting in the 4.0-4.0.1 reporting thread, that we missed, don't hesitate to raise it here.

Also note that the developers of the Anything Slider, which is a 3 party script that we have incorporated into Striking, have produced a chart indicating where they are at on addressing various issues in respect of the Anything Slider and video play. The link can be found at:

At a later date we will imbed that chart in a dedicated thread for the Anything slider. In summary, IE8 and IE7 do not support HTML 5 video - which is a relatively new format, plus there are misc other hiccups depending on the browser and the content one is seeking to display. Overall, the Anything Slider is an incredibly robust slider allowing an unparalleled variety of slider image/video/hml content and so we choose to keep it within Striking.

The past month or so maybe once a week all of my widgets will just swap over to another sidebar.

For example: My Army page has an Army sidebar with widgets with Army links...

I will just go to the site and all the the widgets from the Army page will have been replaced with the widgets from the Navy page or MEPS page or whatever... even if just an hour or two earlier everything was fine.

Its not just one or two sidebars... it happens to all of them at the same time.

Im not sure if a plug in i have is doing it or what.. but its really becoming a problem.

Sept 6 Please be advised the striking demo on themeforest is running via 4.0.2 including all the sliders. The pictures of the panels, found in various places in the demo, have been updated, and work is underway on displaying more of the Striking Features, in the demo. James

Based on user reports, we believe that there are almost no core code issues left in the Series 4.0 version (fingers crossed!). There is an outstanding issue with performance of some video in IE 8 which is reliant on a third party script, and for which the script author has yet to provide a solution. We are following up on that matter.

Hi Everyone

KaptinLin uploaded Striking 4.0.2 to Themeforest, incorporating all the various fixes / attachments appended to different posts in the 4.0 error thread, and it is now available for download. As this thread is fairly lengthy, and full of back and forth posts, mostly for issues that it is believed are now resolved, a new error reporting thread is started for 4.0.2 and we ask that you post any error reports in it, of course, only after you have installed it(ie, don't report an error running ver 4.0.1 in the 4.0.2 thread)!

There really should not be any more posts to this thread, but we are not doing a hard close of it yet.

There still remain a couple of outstanding matters, such as the mediaelement js issue noted by Clane967. That is under separate investigation as it has to do with a 3rd party script incorporated into Striking.

The 4.0.2 thread has the changelog.

Big thanks to everyone who caught an issue and gave us the heads up as well as all your time spent walking us through your problems and bearing with us while we worked to understand and correct them.

Today quite a number of file attachments were attached to individual posts as you run through this thread. Likely sometime next week, once we have reports from users that these resolved their problems, a further update will be released consolidating them all.

So please scroll the entire thread, as updates are attached to your individual posts. We believe we have managed to address almost all the issues reported.

I also just completed a lot of editing of this thread to eliminate superfluous content, duplication, no longer applicable posts, etc, so if you notice changes, it was me!

please note that you have to update to WP ver 3.2.1 as the changes to the wordpress core itself recently mean that backwards compatibility for a full featured theme like Striking is not really possible.
